Kiss Bridge Project - Phu Quoc: Congratulations on the first shipment of accropode structures

The concrete embankment construction package of Kiss Bridge Project worth 59.7 billion VND in Phu Quoc was signed by FPL with Investor Sun Group on April 20, 2023. In this bidding package, FPL carries out 2 main items, the first step is to deploy Accropode production in Long An and next will release Acropode at Kiss Bridge project, Phu Quoc.

On June 10, 2023, FPL is pleased to announce that the first shipment of Acropode components has arrived to carry out the construction of the package. Although it is considered one of the most difficult projects but FPL is determined to complete Phase 1 of the Project with a length of 400m in just 150 days, not including downtime waiting for rain and storms.

This breakwater has a total length of about 700m, an average width of 8m, and a height of 3m above sea level. To complete the project, FPL plans to use 2,735 structural blocks equivalent to 16,000m3 of concrete, of which, the first phase before the storm will release 910 components to protect 4 bridge piers before the rainy season, and the second phase will be carried out to drop the remaining components according to the design, ensuring the Investor's requirements.

The total weight of Acropode components is 14.1 tons and will cover the dyke body to break waves, block wind, and protect the Kiss Bridge tourist attraction cluster and water music. Taking on a difficult project like that, but FPL always tries to ensure progress and complete procedures to hand over to the investor and put it into use according to plan.
