In July 2023, FECON continued to record some bidding packages with a total of more than VND 500 billion

In the first month of the third quarter of 2023, FECON Corporation (HoSE: FCN) recorded 5 bidding packages for many big projects with a total value of VND 537.1 billion.

4 of these 5 new packages are the main businesses of FECON, including Foundation and soil improvement, Foundation and soil improvement, Underground construction, Infrastructure construction. Specifically, FECON received a purchase order (PO) from TH Group for the package P4 Site Development for Phase 1 (Site Development Contractor) worth 172.8 billion VND. In addition, FECON won the bid for the package "Construction of mass piles, diaphragm walls and Kingpost" of two projects: A service area along the Han River (VND 75.9 billion) and an office building project (nearly VND 44.8 billion). FECON also won a bid that is a part of the investment project to build Phu Thu intersection and connecting road in Tien Hiep commune, Phu Ly city, Ha Nam province (65 billion VND).

Moreover, in the last days of July, FECON also received one more PO for the "Gravity anchor " package for the offshore wind power project in the Malaysian sea (VND 178.6 billion). This is a FECON package that will cooperate with a general contractor from Germany for offshore wind floating Foundation with a lot of advantages of economic, technical and environment to be applied in the deep sea. FECON will produce a gravity anchor at Dung Quat Quang Ngai port block until the end of 2023, then transport them to the project for installation by the General Contractor from Germany. It is a bidding package marking an essential milestone of FECON in the research and development process of wind power construction technologies in general and offshore wind power in particular, to promote the goal of increasing participation in the supply chain of the wind power industry in Vietnam in particular and in the region in general.

Thus, if including projects that have received PO, accumulated since the beginning of 2023, FECON recorded a total of VND 1,567 billion packages in industrial construction and infrastructure construction. In the context that the construction & real estate industry has stayed the same markedly after a quiet year, the above results show that FECON is maintaining stable and consistent operations with the goal of projects with high-quality requirements, technology applications and safe payment. In the last 5 months of the year, FECON expects to continue to sign contracts from VND 2,000 billion to VND 2,500 billion in the list of projects that are and will be bidding.
