FECON – Top 20 enterprises in integration and development

FECON Jsc. was honored as one of 20 outstanding enterprises getting the gold medals and awards of merit granted by Vietnam Vice President Mr. Truong Vinh Trong.The award for enterprise in integration and development is held to honor the enterprises getting achievements in improving the quality of products and services, innovation, environmental protection, brand establishment and successfully building the proper business culture in the process of international economic integration. It also encourages enterprises in improving capability and competitiveness of its products, increasing economic efficiency, and promoting products to international markets as highly competitive players in the world market. At the ceremony, Mr. Truong Vinh Trong, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee,  Deputy Prime Minister granted the awards to winning enterprises. He made a speech: “the implementation of Vietnam development orientation and the expansion of external relations have brought Vietnam in deeper integration with the world economy. On this context, the award for “Enterprise in integration and development” is very meaningful, in the sense that it encourages and guides enterprises to actively striving to integration and sustainable development”. He congratulated the Awarding Council and praised the 100 winning enterprises in overcoming many challenges, and at the same time achieving four criteria of the award such as environmental technology and quality management, competitive capability, brand building, and building enterprise culture. This year, the award acknowledged the registration of 206 enterprises. Via evaluation of the four criteria, the Council has selected 100 award-winning enterprises in integration and development in 2009, to be awarded the Golden Cup. Among those, 20 outstanding enterprises was to be honored the merit award by the Council. Fecon Jsc. was honored as one of these 20 enterprises. With collective efforts of both the management board and all employees, and the right direction, FECON Jsc. has gradually overcome the difficulties of the global economic crisis and continued to maintain impressive growth. Nearly 500 large and small projects constructed by FECON in Vietnam have shown the capacity and credibility of FECON in the field of foundation engineering. Quality, reputation, professionalism are what FECON has demonstrated. By boldly investment in applying the advanced technology, FECON can confidently meet requirements of the investors in the field of foundation engineering. The company has made a big success in implementation of these techniques: soft ground treatment by vacuum pumping technology in building the power plant in Nhon Trach 2 – Dong Nai, the synthetic polyester fiber plant in Dinh Vu – Hai Phong, or experiments: Osterberg test with loading capacity up to 3000 tonnes, sensor test, and particularly FECON has successfully implemented the largest static compression test at the project in the headquarter of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with testing capacity up to 3300 tons. This award marked the recognition of FECON’s contribution to the whole society, and had the encouraging effect for FECON to continuously uphold its strengths to bring greater contribution to the Vietnam.
