FPL continues to the epic of the island coast with Bai Dai Phu Quoc project

In the third quarter of 2023, VinGroup officially adjusted the planning to build VinSchool Phu Quoc according to Vin standards nationwide right at the Bai Dai - located in a 5-star resort complex with a scale of up to 1044 hectares. With their construction capacity and long history of cooperation in Phu Quoc, FPL continues to be selected by Phu Quoc Tourism Development and Investment Joint Stock Company to be the Construction Contractor at the Project with the item “Construction of test and mass piles”.

The construction package begins on August 31, 2023 and ends on October 15, 2023 with a total contract value of more than 6 billion VND. Accordingly, the Project Management Board (PMB) has prepared machinery and personnel to receive and execute the project in time. From August 4, 2023, the PMB has begun implementing temporary works, formwork casting yards, etc. to prepare for the project and carry out the construction of the first items. According to the plan, the project needs to be constructed 129 piles of 300 and 326 piles of 400.

Although during this period, weather conditions in Phu Quoc were erratic, with rain and wind directly affecting progress. Along with that, currently the machinery and equipment under construction at Starbay and Lan Anh Vung Bau Projects must be balanced for all 3 projects, so they are not enough. This affects the expected construction time. However, up to now, the Project Management Board is still closely following the construction progress, all items are under control.
