Vietnam Report evaluates the reputation of businesses based on research on financial capacity shown in the latest financial statements; reputable media is evaluated by encoding company’s articles on influential media channels; Surveying experts and people living in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City on the level of satisfaction with products/services as well as the reliability of brands.
By the end of 2018, FECON has recorded a total revenue of VND 4,000 billion (up over 50%), consolidated revenue reached VND 2,900 billion (up 25%) and profit after tax reached VND 260 billion (up 51%). This result was achieved as many large projects were deployed and began to bring revenue in 2018, of which the most typical is Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel (Quang Ngai), along with other major projects such as Empire City HCM, Long Son Petrochemical BRVT, Nghi Son 2 Thanh Hoa Thermal Power Plant, Vinfast, VinCity Tay Mo, Yen Xa Waste Water Plant Hanoi … This year, FECON has also successfully demonstrated the main contractor role in series of projects such as Thang Long Logistic factory, Cristobalite Factory, Phenikaa University, Empire City… Participating some difficult construction items in two national key transportation projects as Metro Line 1 (HCMC) and Metro Line 3 (Hanoi) also affirms FECON’s strength in the field of urban underground works in particular and the construction sector in general.
FECON has not only grown in the financial sector, but also developed in branding sector. According to Vietnam Report, the prestige of the business on communication channel is one of the three reasons that customers choose products and services.
Above FECON in the ranking, having invested carefully in branding mainly belong to giant construction contractors such as Coteccons, Hoa Binh Construction Group, Unicons, Ricons … with the frequency information rates have a high positive effect on 35%. Smaller businesses though not yet focused, but have invested more in communication field for over the last few years.
