FECON with Quang Tri, Ly Son: A meaningful tribute trip

July has been regarded as the Tribute Month, the occasion to commemorate our country’s war invalids and martyrs. In harmony with the flow of gratitude, FECON’s leaders and Youth Union members had made ​​the commemorating journey to Quang Tri and Quang Ngai Province. During the trip from 25 – July to 27 – July, the delegation offered incense at Truong Son National Martyr’s Cemetery, Road 9 National Martyr’s Cemetery, offered incense in Quang Tri Citadel, visited and awarded scholarships and interest gifts for fisherman’s families on Ly Son Island.

Quang Tri – the “Fireland”
In hot and sunny weather of Quang Tri, thousands of people visited and offered incense to the heroic martyrs falling in this land. At the cemetery, FECON’s delegation offered incense and attended the inauguration of Quang Tri Citadel’s Student-Soldiers monument’s yard and donated to Citadel’s management board in order to preserve the monument.
In Quang Tri, FECON’s delegation also visited and donated scholarship for Ly Tu Trong Secondary School – a new school with many difficulties. With the fund worth VND 20 million from FECON, the annual interest would be the gifts for the poor and studious pupils. Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Trong Thang, Acting General Director of FECON hoped the fund would be the motivation helping pupils in Quang Tri in their study. Continuing the journey along Truong Son mount, FECON’s delegation also offered incense at Truong Son National Martyr’s Cemetery, Road 9 National Martyr’s Cemetery.

Ly Son, Quang Ngai – The trip toward national seas and islands.
In July 26, 2014, FECON’s delegation landed on Ly Son Island, Quang Ngai Province with the attentive hospitality of Youth Union’s Members and fishermen there. In little time on the island, leaders and youth union of FECON had grateful  activities such as: Offering incense at martyrs’s cemetery of Ly Son island, visiting monuments and museum of the North Sea Hoang Sa Team, giving gifts for poor fishermen’s families. Visiting these families, listening their life’s story, people from FECON understood deeplier about the value of freedom and territorial claims.
The tribute trip to Quang Tri and Quang Ngai left a deep impression and valuable historical story. This trip promoted the patriotism, the traditional grateful spirit. It brought FECONers motivation in working, contrubuting to the company and maintaining the  business philosophy.
