FECON 2nd time honored as “Top 50 best listed companies”

In the last mid-October, Vietnam Forbes magazine held the ceremony to honor the “Top 50 best listed companies” 2014. FECON Foundation Engineering and Underground Construction JSC (code FCN – HOSE) is among the top 50.  This is the second time Forbes Vietnam magazine gather the list and also the second consecutive time FECON was honored in the rank of this worldwide prestigious magazine.The list of best listed companies in Vietnam is established in order to provide information about best listed companies with excellent business outcome, bringing high profit for investors, at the same time to encourage entrepreneurship. Input data for assessment bases on audited financial statements  in three consecutive years, the most recent financial year ended on 31/12/2013. The list is established by Forbes Vietnam in compliance with Forbes ranking method standards applying worldwide, accounting Vietnam market’s specific factors. The list is also advised by experts of securities, investment funds … Acordingly, top best 50 listed companies are the ones owning outstanding business outcome in 12 sectors, areas engaged, taking dominant position in the market with average revenue growth in 2013 by 7% (exceeding the rate 2% of the whole market),  particularly, pre-tax profit growth averaging 23% (compared with 15% of the companies listed on the two stock exchanges). Specifically, 50 companies have a total market capitalization of over 741,000 billion, representing 65% of total market capitalization of securities Vietnam (data as of the date 04.25.2014).
