The Danh Thang – Doan Bai industrial cluster being developed in FECON Invest JSC is set to bolster Hiep Hoa commune’s position as a rising industrial hub in Bac Ninh province.

On August 9, FECON Invest JSC held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project, commercially known as FECON IP Hiep Hoa, in Hiep Hoa commune.

With a scale of 75 hectares, the project is comprehensively planned with a construction density of 70 per cent, while the remaining nearly 100,000 square metres is dedicated to green spaces and water surfaces, creating a green and healthy working environment.

The entire technical infrastructure is meticulously invested from the outset, including a clean water supply system, an AO-physicochemical wastewater treatment system with a capacity of 3,050 metres cubed per day-night, a 22 kV medium-voltage power grid (27 MVA), modern telecommunications, a standardised fire prevention and fighting system, and 24/7 security. The integrated administrative area includes office spaces, along with service amenities such as a supermarket, restaurants, banks, and clinics.

The Danh Thang – Doan Bai Industrial Cluster (IC) is part of a chain of eight industrial zones (IZs) in Hiep Hoa commune, including Hoa Yen IP, Doan Bai IC, Doan Bai - Luong Phong 1 IC, Dong Lo - Luong Phong 2 IC, Duc Thang IC, Dong Lo IC, and Dong Lo 1 IC. Currently, six projects are being implemented with a total area of 555 ha, while two projects, Dong Lo IC and Dong Lo 1 IC, covering 150 ha, have not yet been implemented.

"The IZs implemented in the commune are significant, benefiting from advantageous geographical locations and easy connectivity to major national and provincial roads, seaports, airports, and major domestic and international economic centres," Nguyen Xuan Thao, Chairman of Hiep Hoa People’s Committee said at the event.

"The policy of the commune’s leadership, government is to focus on strongly developing industry and commercial services, with industrial development as the core to attract businesses to invest in the area, employ a large workforce in enterprises, factories, and service facilities, increase income for residents, contribute to economic restructuring, shift towards non-agricultural labour, and strive to elevate Hiep Hoa commune to ward status by 2027," he said.

"The 75-hectare Danh Thang - Doan Bai industrial cluster, affecting 423 households and individuals, is one of the projects with smooth land clearance processes, receiving high consensus from the local people and enabling early land handover to investors," Thao added.

Once completed, the IC will offer investors a full suite of project lifecycle support services, including legal and environmental consulting, investment and business registration, recruitment, and factory operation assistance. The development will also apply investment incentives in accordance with Decree No. 218/2013/ND-CP, which details and guides the implementation of the Corporate Income Tax Law.

It is located in an area with challenging socioeconomic conditions, included in the list for corporate income tax incentives. Specifically, businesses investing here will be exempt from corporate income tax for the first two years from when taxable income is generated and receive a 50 per cent reduction in payable tax for the next four years for income derived from new ventures.

Furthermore, investors will benefit from land lease incentives (exemption from land lease fees for up to seven years, depending on the sector and industry) and import tax exemptions for machinery, equipment, and materials not yet produced domestically, as well as raw materials for export production, following current investment and tax regulations.

Muon Van Chien, general director of FECON Invest, said, "This IC is key part of FECON Group’s industrial infrastructure development strategy and demonstrates our long-term commitment to partnering with local authorities and the business community in creating a modern, efficient, and sustainable production environment."

FECON IP Hiep Hoa focuses on attracting high-value, eco-friendly industries, including electronics, precision engineering, pharmaceuticals, food processing, and high-tech supporting sectors. Its proximity to major corporations such as Samsung, Foxconn, Goertek, and Luxshare positions the project to strengthen northern Vietnam’s supply chain for electronic components, semiconductors, and advanced equipment.
