On September 4, 2025, FPL Company officially signed a contract and commenced the execution of the 'Investment and Expansion of Phu Quoc International Airport' Project – one of the key transportation infrastructure projects in the Southern region.

The project is being carried out in Duong To Ward, Phu Quoc Special Zone, An Giang Province, with Sun Airport Joint Stock Company as the Investor. FPL is responsible for the construction of bored piles for the passenger terminal access bridge, with a total contract value of over 61.3 billion VND and a performance timeline of 100 days.

???? Mobilize the Team – Execute the Work

Right after the contract signing, FPL promptly mobilized its workforce, equipment, and materials to the construction site, deploying four bored piling chains. This ensured that the piling works were carried out synchronously, safely, and according to the stipulated timeline.

????️ Braving Adversity, Keeping Pace – Establishing FPL's Authority

As of October 20, 2025, the Management Board has completed 69 out of 194 piles. During the implementation process, the project faced numerous difficulties regarding construction conditions, particularly frequent rain and wind, muddy and boggy ground, and a cramped construction area. However, with the spirit of 'Proactiveness – Discipline – Determination', FPL remains committed to the site, flexibly coordinating among the work sections to maintain progress and absolute safety.

The “Phu Quoc International Airport” Project is not only a key infrastructure work but also a step that affirms FPL’s capability and prestige in the field of bored piling construction for national-level transportation projects. This is also a source of pride and motivation for all FPL employees to continue steadfastly on the journey of conquering bigger and more significant projects in the future.
