On January 3, 2025, FECON Group held a ceremony to commemorate achieving 5 million safe working hours in 2024 at the Quang Ninh Police Headquarters project. Representatives of the project owner, Deputy General Director of FECON Tran Trung Hieu, Head of the Occupational Safety Department Nguyen Van Hao, supervisory consultants, subcontractors, engineers, and workers involved in the project attended the ceremony.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Tran Trung Hieu emphasized: "FECON remains steadfast in our philosophy that people are our most valuable asset. Ensuring worker safety is not just a duty but a core commitment, going hand in hand with meeting project deadlines and delivering the promised quality to investors."
In 2024, FECON participated in several large-scale projects, including the package of operating TBM robot to construct Metro Line 3 - Hanoi, Lach Huyen Port berths 5 and 6, the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Headquarters, the Phu Thu Interchange in Ha Nam, and Baria Serece Port in Vung Tau. These projects imposed stringent requirements not only regarding quality and progress but also occupational safety and environmental protection.

2024 also marked a successful year for FECON in occupational safety. Achieving 5 million safe working hours is an impressive milestone and proof of the close coordination among project management teams, engineers, and workers, along with the stringent oversight of the Group’s leadership.

This achievement stems from FECON’s sustainable safety strategies, including risk assessment before construction; the implementation of preventive measures to minimize potential incidents; comprehensive safety training for all personnel before engaging in project activities; and regular on-site inspections and supervision to promptly identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Beyond project-specific efforts, in 2024, FECON launched numerous training programs and initiatives to enhance safety awareness across the organization. Notable activities included safety management training following international standards ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015; mandatory safety regulation briefings for all employees before commencing work on any project; and advanced emergency response and risk management training sessions.
On this occasion, FECON honored 10 outstanding individuals for their exceptional contributions to workplace safety and awarded gifts to 15 workers who demonstrated exemplary compliance with occupational hygiene and safety standards throughout the year.
