FECON MARKS 5 MILLION SAFE WORKING HOURS IN 2024: EFFORTS TO AFFIRM TOP RESPONSIBILITY AND REPUTATION

On January 3, 2025, FECON held a ceremony to celebrate achieving 5 million safe working hours in 2024 at the Quang Ninh Police Headquarters project. Representatives of FECON, including Deputy General Director Tran Trung Hieu and Head of the HSE Department Nguyen Van Hao, along with supervisory consultants, subcontractors, engineers, and workers, participated in the event.

In 2024, FECON participated in several major projects, including the TBM operation for Hanoi Metro Line 3, Lach Huyen Port - Terminals No. 5 and 6 (Hai Phong), Quang Ninh Provincial Police Headquarters (Quang Ninh), Phu Thu Interchange (Ha Nam), and Baria Serece Port (Ba Ria - Vung Tau). These projects demanded strict adherence to quality standards, timelines, safety, and environmental protection.

The year 2024 was a significant success for FECON in occupational safety. Reaching 5 million safe working hours stands as a remarkable achievement, reflecting the strong collaboration between project management teams, engineers, and workers, as well as the direction of FECON's Leader.

This achievement is the result of FECON’s sustainable safety strategies, which include conducting risk assessments before construction, implementing preventive measures to minimize potential incidents, providing and training safety for all personnel before they begin work, and performing regular on-site inspections to promptly identify and address potential hazards. 

FECON awards certificates of merit to engineers and staff for outstanding achievements in workplace safety in 2024

In 2024, FECON launched various training programs and initiatives to strengthen safety awareness across the organization. Key activities included safety management training aligned with international standards ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015, mandatory safety briefings for all employees before starting work on any project, and advanced training sessions on emergency response and risk management.

On this occasion, FECON recognized 10 outstanding individuals for their exceptional contributions to workplace safety and presented awards to 15 workers who consistently adhered to occupational hygiene and safety standards throughout the year
