FECON SIGNS MOU ON COOPERATION WITH UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING & TECHNOLOGY - VIETNAM NATIONAL UNIVERSITY

Attending the ceremony, on the side of FECON, were the Chairman Pham Viet Khoa, the Vice Chairman Tran Trong Thang, and representatives of leaders and specialized personnel of the unit. On the side of the University of Engineering &Technology - Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-UET), there were Prof. Dr. of Science Nguyen Dinh Duc - Chairman of the University Council and Head of the Faculty of Construction Technology - Transport, Prof. Dr. Chu Duc Trinh - Principal of the school, along with teachers and representatives of students.  

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Chu Duc Trinh shared: "Although still young, the Faculty of Construction Technology - Transport is proud to be the unit that can provide engineers with the best professional quality, the best academic knowledge, the best technical knowledge, and most importantly, full of passion for the construction profession".

In the spirit of enthusiasm and openness, the leaders of FECON and VNU-UET officially signed a 5-year memorandum of understanding for cooperation, period 2023 - 2028.   

According to the memorandum of understanding, FECON and VNU-UET will cooperate in the following areas:   

Cooperation in professional development and scientific research:   

- The two sides coordinate in organizing conferences and seminars in professional fields, majors related to teaching, research, and production practice.   

- Based on actual needs and capabilities, the two sides will consider cooperating to jointly implement several research projects related to construction technology and engineering;   

Cooperation in the field of training and human resource development:   

- FECON supports internship reception, graduation guidance, and scientific research guidance and grants several scholarships, depending on the needs and capabilities of FECON each year for VNU-UET students;   

- FECON supports VNU-UET in developing training programs, participating in teaching, and sharing some subjects and topics suitable for VNU-UET students and lecturers;   

- VNU-UET supports FECON in organizing and teaching advanced training classes and master's and doctoral programs for FECON staff;   

- Based on actual needs and capabilities, the two sides will consider the equipment to meet the research, teaching, and practice requirements for both sides' students, lecturers, and staff.

The signing of a MOU with one of the leading training institutions in Vietnam affirms FECON's sustainable development orientation based on advanced technology. At the same time, the MOU also continues to develop the cooperative relationship between FECON and VNU-UET, opening favorable premises for both sides to promote their strengths, serving the sustainable and long-term development of society.
