VIETGEO 2018 was sponsored by FECON

On 21^st and 22^nd September, FECON participated in International Conference VIETGEO 2018 as the main sponsor. This conference is biyearly organized by the Vietnam Association of Engineering Geology and Environment and the Hanoi University of Mining and Geology.

 

VIETGEO 2018 with the topic "Geological and Geotechnical Engineering in Response to Climate Change and Sustainable Development of Infrastructure” was successfully organized in Quang Binh. This conference was a forum for domestic and foreign scientists discussing about new trends and challenges in the field of geology, geotechnology and environment in Vietnam as well as other countries in the world.

With the mission to develop research and apply advanced technologies to foundation engineering, underground construction and infrastructure development, FECON has provided the optimal economic and technical  solutions for customers and contributed to sustainable development of the country for 15 years. A number of large projects have been applied FECON's leading technologies such as Nghi Son 1 Thermal Power Plant; Duyen Hai Thermal Power; Long Thanh - Dau Giay Expressway, Hanoi – Hai Phong Expressway… [caption id="attachment_12550" align="aligncenter" width="701"] Representatives of FECON participated in VIETGEO 2018[/caption] In recent years, from a deep understanding and experience in geotechnical engineering as well as foundation engineering, FECON has been confident to expand business to underground construction and infrastructure development. With practical experience, FECON delivered a presentation entitled "FECON and experiences of Underground construction". The presentation demonstrates that FECON’s understanding of geotechnical as well as the leading for construction technologies in a new and difficult field of urban underground projects.
