Lotte Mall Hanoi

On March 20th 2020, FPL has successfully signed the construction of low piles at Lotte Mall Hanoi project_ this is a complex of projects to build items such as shopping centers, supermarkets, cinemas Films, hotels, serviced apartments, aquariums and offices are being built at the foot of Nhat Tan bridge, adjacent to two main roads, Vo Chi Cong and Lac Long Quan streets, in Phu Thuong ward, Western district. Ho, Hanoi city with a total contract value of over 55 billion VND.

This is the second project that FPL uses the construction method Drilling and lowering piles - an advanced construction method that replaces the foundation material, does not cause compression, and reduces the overall hardness fluctuation of the original, unshaped ground into residual pressure in the ground during construction.

In this project, FPL undertakes 4 construction items:

• Construction of drilling and lowering piles PHC D700: Weight: 1559 piles, length from 24 to 31m
• Concrete lining: 72000m2
• Building brick wall for foundation: 1800m3
• Construction of pile cap and concrete pile head: 1559 pile head

To ensure the schedule signed with the investor, FPL mobilized 5 drilling lines with 5 100-ton cranes and a large number of personnel including 10 people from the executive board, 80 construction workers continuously for 2 days and night.

Construction technology is still new to the company, FPL has difficulty in implementation. Besides the complicated geology due to the 8-10m thick gravel layer and construction on the foundation consisting of more than 2,400 old unused piles, the situation in the country during the Covid-19 epidemic has complicated developments. you have a lot of problems. However, FPL still tries and looks for many reasonable solutions to maintain the contractor's project commitment. It is hoped that Lotte Mall Hanoi will help the company build a new image of drilling and lowering construction and act as leverage to seek out more big projects in the future.
