Quoc Vinh - Soc Trang Wind Power Plant

On October 29, 2021, Quoc Vinh Soc Trang Wind Power Plant was officially recognized for commercial operation (COD), contributing to expanding FECON's portfolio of investment projects, aiming to reach the goal of becoming a Contractor and Investor with excellent capabilities in foundation and underground construction.

FECON has gone further and deeper into the energy sector when it entered a joint venture with a foreign partner, Ecotech, to invest over VND1,420 billion in the 30-MW Quoc Vinh Soc Trang Wind Farm in the first phase. Built on 7.5ha of land, the wind power plant has six 5-MW wind turbine towers. Once in operation, the facility supplies 97.5 million kWh of electricity for the national grid a year.

In this project, FECON also takes on the role of domestic general contractor for construction and infrastructure, in charge of all foundation wind turbines, transportation infrastructure, transformer stations, and a 110KV power transmission line system with a total of length 18.9km.
