B&T Quang Binh wind farm cluster

2020 is a breakthrough year for FECON Pile Construction and Construction Joint Stock Company with many big projects signed.

On July 20, 2020, FPL signed a contract to build "B&T Quang Binh Wind Power Plant" (BT1 & BT2) with a total value of more than VND 200 billion. The project has a total investment of nearly 7,000 billion VND, invested by B&T Wind Power Joint Stock Company, located in Hai Ninh commune, Quang Ninh district, Quang Binh province. B&T Wind farm cluster is the largest wind farm on land with capacity in Vietnam up to now. FPL is honored to be the largest construction company, taking on 50% of the work volume at the project.

This is a key project of FPL in 2020 with many construction items such as:

1. Construction of 15km of roads, accounting for 30% of traffic system volume at the project.
2. Producing and supplying 60,000m3 of concrete of all kinds, accounting for 100% of the total concrete volume of the whole project
3. Construction of 50% of the volume of PHC piles and bored piles of the project
4. Directly construct 25 out of 50 foundation pillars of the project.

With a large force of more than 30 professional and experienced engineers, 50-60 drivers, machine drivers, and more than 200 skilled workers along with a complete and well-operated system of machinery and equipment, FPL has continued to complete the work items to ensure the quality standards of the works, meet the schedule as well as the requirements on labor safety, environment and health on the construction site. FPL gradually proves its ability with the ambition to reach out to the big playing field.

It is expected that the B&T Quang Binh wind farm project will be completed and put into use in the third and fourth quarters of 2021. Once completed and put into operation, the project will add a large, safe, and environmentally friendly power source, contributing to ensuring national energy security, creating more jobs, increasing budget revenues, contributing to the socio-economic development of Quang Binh province

 

Large projects with many construction items such as B&T Quang Binh Wind farm are an opportunity for FPL to assert itself as well as create the capacity and premise for FPL to confidently undertake large projects in the coming years, towards the goal of becoming a leading enterprise in construction infrastructure.
